Corrision of Embossing Roll
Pacific Testing was appointed by Harrison Gray Loss Adjustors on behalf of QBE Insurance to carry out a factual investigation and report on the circumstances and cause of the alleged corrosion of a set of embossing rolls. The investigation included a site inspection and recreation of conditions to establish the feasibility of pitting corrosion developing within a relatively short time.

Rust Staining of Military Equipment
This project was in regard to the premature corrosion of the cooling water system at a military supply factory. The consequent rusting resulted in staining of military body armour. An investigation showed that the recommendation and use of dissimilar metals in the pipe-work had caused premature failure of the lines.
